The Luvele La Thermometer is a perfect inclusion to any kitchen. It's stylish design and many features will assist with any temperature recording job you may have in your kitchen.

OPERATION

Before using the kitchen thermometer, please pill-off the protected film from the front panel.

To take a temperature measurement, unfold the probe from its housing and the LCD will immediately display the temperature.

The default display unit is Celsius. If you are want to change it to Fahrenheit, press down the C/F button for 3 seconds.

Data-hold: Before withdrawing probe from food, press ‘HOLD/CAL’ key. This will hold the temperature reading until pressed again.

To display the minimum or the maximum temperature, push the ‘MAX/MIN button. It will firstly display the saved maximum temperature. By pressing it again, it will display the minimum saved temperature.

To activate the backlight, press the light button once. Press again to turn off. The backlight will automatically turn off after 30 seconds

To calibrate the temperature, take a cup of ice water, insert the probe into the ice water. Leave it for approximately 1 minute. When final temperature has been recorded, press and hold down the ‘HOLD/CAL’ button for 3 seconds. The display will show ‘CAL’ on the screen. Use the C/F button to increase the digits, or the ‘MAX/MIN’ button to decrease the digits, until you reach 0°C or 32°F. Then press the ‘CAL’ button to confirm the calibration.

I already had an instant read thermometer, so this was a second one dedicated to our yogurt making. This one is far better than my original one though! The digital readout flips around for proper viewing however you hold it (like your phone) which I hadn't realized was necessary until the new one did it. There is also a 'hold temp' button for keeping the reading when you pull the thermometer out of the food. Also a very nice feature. The tool is lightweight but sturdy, and I may buy another one to replace my old one!

My Luvele Digital Thermometer is great! It's very sturdy and accurate. The temperature readout is quick and the digits are large (easy-to-read). A special bonus: it fits neatly inside my Luvele Yogurt Maker so that I don't have to rummage around looking for it when it's time to make my next batch of yogurt.

It's the best thermometer I have purchased in my 60+ years. It folds up neatly, it's easy to wipe clean, it registers accurate temp and it does it quite fast. One can chose between C° and F° easily. The stem is long enough so your hand does not get hot when taking a temp over hot food. It has a nice box that is foam padded to protect the thermometer when in the drawer . It's a little pricey, but worth the quality you get.
