I made l rueteri turned out great so easy i will make l gasseri next will be buying one for my granddaughter for Xmas thanks
First yogurt making experience, and i'm happy to report it all went smooth....and creamy ;) Many benefits including, reduced brain fog, bigger muscles, night vision etc, now I just have to check the bank account to see if i'm any richer, not that i'll ever be as rich as this yogurt! Seriously though great stuff, the video was super helpful. Thanks
I was suffering from low grade c diff for weeks and after trying diet and what felt like a dozen different things but when i started this things finally settled down. No problem getting 2nd and 3rd batch to set perfectly.
I have mostly had success with my L REUTERI starter using an organic UHT milk. I have had a few fails where the yoghurt has separated badly, but that was before I started using the UHT milk. I enjoy the taste and feel it’s good for my gut.
I picked Luvele after much research, wanting to make L Gasseri and L Reuteri fermented 'yoghurt' The first thing I would recommend is finding UHT organic full cream milk, this is easily bought at the major supermarkets in Australia. The US recommendations for milk used are confusing but this UHT works without heating and cooling etc. My first attempt at L Gasseri separated a lot, but as I have experience with kefir I was not too phased by this and used that ferment to then make a more uniform creamy L Gasseri ferment using the UHT. The L reuteri was easier and results were excellent. I used a temperature of 38 degrees for both and the results have been yummy and a great consistency. I used organic agave inulin powder. The second ferment I was not too careful about measuring, I just added a heaped teaspoon or so of each finished L Gasseri and L Reuteri 'yoghurt' and about the same of the inulin powder in each jar. The results were perfect. I will be experimenting with other probiotics and recipes and feel confident that this machine will work well. If I run out of jars, I just sterilise jam jars with boiling water and transfer the 'yoghurt' into those so I can continue the process uninterrupted. Customer support has been fantastic, quick and concise. Thank you very much!
