I've only had these containers for about a week, so I'll focus mostly on my shopping experience and first impressions of the product quality. I ordered a 4-piece set with a hand pump and a 3 750ml containers set from luvele.eu. The order was shipped from their warehouse in Germany. My plan was to get a head start on Christmas cooking and store everything in vacuum-sealed containers to keep it fresh. I was genuinely excited when I placed the order, but unfortunately, that excitement faded away pretty quickly. I placed the order on a Monday and chose to pay via bank wire transfer. By Thursday, the payment was still not processed, so I contacted their support team. It turned out that my payment had been overlooked. This delay meant it took about two weeks from placing the order to finally receiving it. I've used SEPA bank wire transfers before, and this is the first time I've had an issue like this. I was willing to overlook it if everything else went smoothly, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. When the containers finally arrived, I couldn't help but notice that the items I received looked like a combination of (a) products that did not pass quality control and (b) products that were previously used/returned. Some of the tissue paper wrapping was torn (almost completely ripped for the 2.5L container). Not exactly something you're expecting to see for brand new products. Some lids were slightly dirty and had scratches. There was glue spilled on the aluminum part of the lid, and parts of the silicone's coating were peeled off. The quality of the borosilicate containers is not great, not terrible. However, some were scratched. The 2.5L container has a particularly deep scratch. One of them had a strange, oily residue that took some scrubbing to clean off. Needless to say that I was disappointed and my day was ruined. I live in a lower-income country than Germany and the average salary is ~ 3 times smaller than Germany's (based on European Commission's 2023 average full time adjusted salary per employee data). So, paying the same price but getting a product that felt subpar made the whole experience even harder to swallow. That said, there are a few positives. The lids seem solid, and the portable hand pump has worked great so far. I've seen plenty of 5 star reviews, so maybe I just had an unlucky experience.

I’ m so glad I purchased these Luvele containers ! They are sturdy and of good quality. I bought them on impulse when ordering the Luvele yoghurt - maker. But I needed food containers, and have been looking for some nice containers for a while now. These are exactly what I need, keeping my food fresh longer and my fridge looking organised. I’ m glad I found them, and I also recommend them to my friends and family. I will wait some time now and find out which of the sizes I’ ll use most, and then probably buy a few more later.
